@Sidney I would be happy to join! Carcassone is really terrific. I've also got Samurai, Ticket to Ride, Tichu and Thurn & Taxis if you're into any of those.

If you were to fill an old bottle with rain (naturally), and immerse a charred piece of wood in it, along with a few drops of black ink, let it mature for a few weeks, and add sugar, you would be left with Tenpenny Ale. Or would you?
A few months ago, I purchased a bottle, and was alarmed to see how how dark it was upon opening and pouring. A friend arrived, and I traded the big growler with him for some of his Fosters. But then at the last minute, I asked, "d'you mind if I just tried that again?"
It was heaven, and what the hell was I thinking.

The best book of the year? As the woman said, in response to the myriad processed fats, oils, lipids, call-em-what-yer-will, "I can't believe it's not Perry Boys!!!" Or was that butter?

Chrissy, I don't think I know you, but thanks for stopping by. I'll check out the Go-Giver.
