Wunderbake

Wunderbake is a collaboration with my friend Meghan, where we will make, photograph and eat food featured in the gelatin-heavy recipes of the 1960’s. Such chestnuts as “Meat Ring with Sauerkraut” will be molded, baked and consumed, probably while wearing retro-style oven mitts.

There will also be cultural elements to the project, incorporating the colors and design sensibilities of the time into our documentation of each dish, while also discussing the events that occurred around the time the recipes were published.
