Introducing Politicalc

American politics today is extremely partisan. In this zero-sum climate, voters pick the side that fits best, often the "lesser of two evils." Sometimes, it feels as though we don't examine our own values and beliefs, and instead reflexively side with our major political party. That may be the smartest, or at least most risk-averse approach, but it may also be helpful to consider where we, as individuals, would place ourselves along a wider variety of political, cultural, and civic continuums.

Politicalc is designed to be a simple, quiz-like tool to facilitate reflection and map responses onto eight dimensions:

  • Public Order Priority
  • Government Role in the Economy
  • Institutional Confidence
  • National Identity Focus
  • Majority Rule Preference
  • Populist Orientation
  • Cultural Traditionalism
  • Equality and Social Hierarchy

Spend five minutes and see where you land.
